Amounts
JPY is whole yen. Send an integer (1000, or the string "1000"). A fractional JPY amount such as 1000.5 is rejected with 400 and "JPY amounts must be whole yen".
JPY amounts in responses and callbacks are JSON integers (1000). For other currencies, amounts are numbers in responses and decimal strings in callbacks.
Fee and net
fee is the total fee InsPay charges you for the transaction. On a deposit it is known when the order is created.
actualAmount is filled in only when the transaction completes:
- deposit:
amount − fee, the amount credited to your balance - withdrawal:
amount + fee, the amount debited from your balance
Until then, actualAmount is null. On a failed callback, actual_amount is null.
netAmount on a transaction query is the same calculation, and it is available before the transaction completes.
| Deposit | Withdrawal | |
|---|---|---|
| Held at creation | nothing extra beyond the later credit | amount + fee is held from your available balance |
| When completed | balance increases by amount − fee | balance decreases by amount + fee |
actualAmount | amount − fee | amount + fee |
